Nursery

We are very fortunate in having a nursery class for pre-school aged children who are 3 and over.

We run a morning session from 8.35 am to 11.35 am and also offer full-day (30 hour) places.  We also offer fee-paid places which are currently charged at £20 per session. If your child is not eligible for extended 30-hr funding entitlement, you may apply for fee-paid sessions instead. Fee-paid sessions do not count towards our Published Admission Number and offers of fee-paid places will only be made where there is spare capacity in the nursery, after all 3- and 4-year-olds have been offered their requested funded hours. Fee-paid 3-hr sessions may be booked for a minimum of 5 days a week.  We may consider offering these sessions on a 4/3 day per week basis, however this will be dependent on various factors and be at the discretion of the headteachers.

Please refer to our Admissions page for information about how to apply

Nursery Overview

Our Nursery provides a stimulating and interesting environment inside and outside that helps children to be healthy, happy and safe. In group time children get involved in many different activities: sharing stories, phonics, singing, circle time and music; all with specific learning intentions in mind. Outside we have a large garden with sandpits and climbing frame with an artificial grass surface that can be used all year round. We also have a mini forest garden where we learn about the environment and build using natural materials.

If you are interested in seeing our Nursery in action, we would be delighted to show you round. Please contact our school office to arrange an appointment.
