Natasha Thompson

My name is Natasha Thompson and I currently teach the Year 1 children in Penguin’s class. I have been a teacher at St Francis for the past 5 years and in that time have taught across Key Stage 1 and have more recently have spent some afternoons teaching in year 5 and 6.
During my time at St Francis I have been involved in many aspects of our school life through my role as both teacher and Art and Design Coordinator. I am always keen to lend a hand at after school events such as school discos, the summer fete and the Christmas bazaar and have also helped lead discussions in curriculum planning across the whole school.
My passion for art has been something that I have tried to inspire the children with over the years, and is something which I will be developing more across the whole school in the near future. I have also more recently taken on the role of Key Stage 1 leader which I am very excited to get stuck into!
